PSSA and Little Luvvies

Principals: Mia Terry and Laura Bird

Does your child show a natural talent for entertainment...
or do they need some encouragement to 'come out of their shell'?

At the PSSA we welcome everyone. Our training has a wide range of benefits for a variety of students. We not only provide professional performing arts training, but also a safe and controlled environment in which youngsters can develop their imagination, social awareness and self-confidence.

The Pop School and Stage Academy was established in 2004 in Chiswick, London, and has been such a success since then that it was decided to open a branch of the School in Stone, at the Rooftop Studios, in January 2008. Initial auditions were held by TV's Ian Kelsey and Angela Griffin, and Atomic Kitten's Liz McClarnon and received a huge response.

We offer a unique approach - three hours each week during which the students are split into age groups, spend 40 minutes each on Singing, Dance and Drama, a short break and then 50 minutes all together working on Performance. We produce a major show each year as well as smaller performances; and we also host workshops with guest professionals and celebrities!

The organisation has its own separate Website, www.pssa.co.uk, with news and information about the PSSA, as well as events, teachers, classes and newsletters for both the London and Stone schools. Information about important goings-on at the Rooftop will always appear on the Home and Events Pages here also.

Sessions are on Saturdays; we have two Little Luvvies classes (3-5yrs and 6-8yrs) and two PSSA classes (8-18yrs) to keep class size small and thereby ensure a fun, engaging and high quality environment. See items in the sidebar on the left for more details.
